How To… Use Tags
Tags quickly put each link into your own custom groups that you make up as you add or edit links. You can tag each link into as many groups as you like and use this feature to easily organize all your marketing. Clicking on a tag brings up all the links with their data initially combined, so you can see all the referrers for all your marketing for a specific product. ing tags gives you quick access to overviews of the different marketing you do.
Enter in tags, separated by commas like this:
descriptive tag #1, tag 2, tag 3, etc…Example:
Tags: affiliate links, clickbank, product nameThis puts a single link into three tags. Later, when you click, “affiliate links” in the tag cloud, every link that contains that tag will appear. Or, if you click the “product name” (replacing it with the name of the product you are promoting), all the links related to that product will come up in the link list.
Give different links the same tags to group them together. For instance, you could give links to PDF’s the tag, “PDF” so you can find all your PDF’s with one click. You could also give every link that you use to promote a single product a tag of the name of that product, so you can find them all at once. If you have a series of links that are part of a process, give them all the same tag so you can quickly see the results of that process, with those links graphed side-by-side with one click on the tag cloud.
Remember, you can give each link multiple tags to clearly describe it, like “Product X, PDF” for one link, and “Product X, Affiliate Link” for another.
