The Co-Branding Bar

The co-branding bar adds a thin bar as shown here to the top of a cloaked link.

Branding Bar Sample

On it you will find:

  1. The GoTryTHIS logo, which when clicked takes people to our site through your pre-setup affiliate link. Just turn on the branding bar and add the opportunity for monthly recurring commissions for everyone who clicks the link.
  2. The title of the link, which you can customize, as it is a framed/cloaked link.
  3. A “More From” button, which you can customize to say “More From {Your text}” and you can link to anywhere you like.
  4. A “What’s GoTryTHIS” button that currently does the same thing as the GoTryTHIS logo.
  5. A close button to close the co-branding bar and de-cloak the link.

To turn on the co-branding bar, select the from the “Cloak” pull-down the option “On & Branded”. You will find this on the “Basic”, “Cloaked”, and “Bar” tab and changing it in one tab changes it in the other tabs. By turning on the co-branding bar, you are cloaking the link, which means the link will display your “Redirect” URL in the address bar of the browser instead of the destination “To URL” by including the entire page on a frame at that redirect URL location.

Customizing The Co-Branding Bar:

You can customize the title and “More From” button in the branding bar.

  1. Title: The title that appears at the top of the page (and in tabbed browsers) can be changed to anything you like for SEO or branding purposes etc. It defaults to the title of the page you are sending people to. This title also appears in the branding bar. This is updated in the “Cloaked” tab.

  1. “More From” Button: The text and link of the “More From” button can be changed to anything you like, with exception of anything that implies that it is from GoTryTHIS. You may consider sending visitors to a page with other similar links, an opt-in page, etc.

    • change the “More From” default link for all existing links on that domain as well as future links.

To change the existing links, select, “Apply for all links” beside the option you want to update on the “Bar” tab.
