Part 2: Using GoTryTHIS Links
Once you have created a GoTryTHIS link, to use it, simply right click on the blue text of the link in the link list, choose “Copy Target URL” or “Copy Link Location, and then paste it into your marketing wherever you may have otherwise used the direct link you are replacing. When people click on that link, they will be redirected instantly and a lot of information about the click is tracked in real-time.
Use this link in PPC and banner ads, e-mails, blogs, articles, forum posts, etc.
(We are also working on a feature to mirror every link in a twitter-friendly short link, which you can use in addition to your regular links, supports all GoTryTHIS features, and tracks seamlessly with the regular link, so you can use them interchangeably.)
Once you have created a link, you can:
- Identify which copy generates clicks, with campaigns.
- Track PPC keywords with campaigns.
- If the link is an affiliate link, embed it in a page, such as a review page. (Cautions.)
- Redirect your home page and track it on GoTryTHIS.
- Redirect parked domains or domain where GoTryTHIS is not installed.
- Find your links, with various search methods.
- Track clicks/impressions on your links.
- Pass variables through your link to the destination URL.
- Graph conversions through your site and checkout pages.
- Graph banner add impressions and conversions.
- Track e-mail open and conversion rates.
- Edit where your link goes to at a later date.
- Split-test affiliate links to find the most profitable or best converting.
- Split-test affiliate links against your own sales pages until yours beats the competition.
