Setup Part 4: WordPress

If you have WordPress installed as your home page, you need to install our WordPress plugin, which fixes all conflicts with WordPress.

Version 2, existing installations:
If you already have GoTryTHIS 2 setup on a domain and want to install the GoTryTHIS WordPress plugin, first make sure you are running the most recent version of GoTryTHIS and then follow these instructions. It only takes a minute to install and it is automated.

  1. Login to your dashboard.
  2. Go to the “Management” page, the “Domains” tab, select the domain you wish to install it on, and click the “Repair Domain” button.
  3. Point SetupBOT to the domain and installation of GoTryTHIS and on the next step, choose the “Repair” option.
  4. Choose the second option for links no longer redirecting.
  5. The plugin will be automatically installed.
  6. Login to your WordPress admin, select the “Plugins” option, and activate the “GoTryTHIS” plugin.

Version 2, new installations:
New installations will have the plugin detected and installed when you install the GoTryTHIS domain code. Once it is done, login to your WordPress admin, select the “Plugins” option, and activate the “GoTryTHIS” plugin.

Version 1 installations:
We have not yet investigated what will be required to make this new plugin compatible with version 1. However, the free upgrade to version 2 is now available.
