Part 1: New In GoTryTHIS 2

In version 2 there is the new GoTryTHIS Dashboard where you will now go to upgrade your sites, put in new ones, add and edit links, and view your statistics.  You install the GoTryTHIS Dashboard only once, in its own brand new folder, not on top of any of your earlier installs.  Even if you have only one domain, you install the dashboard and from there upgrade your domain.

In version 2, I’m happy to announce, none of your domains need a database anymore.  Only the GoTryTHIS Dashboard requires a database.  That means very fast installs and upgrade on your domains, so you end up using it on more of your sites.

Even more happy news:  After you add a new domain or upgrade your version 1 domains, you’ll rarely have to touch them again.  All they do is make your links work and send click data back to the GoTryTHIS Dashboard.  It’s on the Dashboard that almost all the updates happen.

In version 2 you will no longer have to login to separate installs to see separate stats for separate domains.  They are all in your single dashboard, combined, even if they are hosted on different servers.  You can search your links across your sites and combine results to give you a much deeper understanding of your marketing!

When you upgrade, your link groups will be converted to tags and will appear in the tag cloud. (…)
