Installer down for maintenance

The installer will be down for a while starting sometime on Wednesday, during which time we move it to a new server and new domain, get the Zend and Ioncube licenses moved, change DNS, etc. (…)

HostGator Installation Instructions

If you are having trouble adding a HostGator domain to your dashboard, please follow the details below for entering FTP and domain details, rather than the instructions they provide to you in their welcome mails.

Take note of the comments for each one.

SetupBOT SCREEN 1
FTP Host: maindomainname.com NOT the ip address; no ‘www.’ no ‘ftp.’
Username: cpaneluser Your main cPanel account name
Password: password cPanel password (not an FTP account)

Physical Path: /public_html/ if this is your MAIN domain
Install Folder: /gotrythis/ Only change if necessary – and MUST be only one folder
Domain Name: maindomainname.com NOT the ip address; no ‘www.’ no ‘ftp.’

“PHP is not able to store session data.”

Question:

My Gotrythis2 install is coughing this error up, my VPS hosting provider
changed some permissions stuff on my account after a security audit.

“Please check your server configuration: PHP is not able to store session
data.”

Answer:

That error indicates that the PHP session save path variable is pointing to a folder on the server that is not writable. (…)

“Not enough nodes” error

This is solved. If you experience it, you are using an old version of the installed dashboard. Please login and update your dashboard from the popup. (…)

Long delay during setup, followed by blank screen

This happens on very few servers, where SetupBOT has to upload the files one at a time, and then it dies when it is complete. (…)

Can do a “manual install” upgrade?

Sorry, no. Not at this time. We will look into this, but it will be a bit.

It says Zend is not installed, but it is.
