How many GTT clicks per month do you average?
November 1st, 2008
Hi.
As we’re testing GoTryTHIS 2 and working out how much resources it consumes, I thought it might be a really good idea to find out what typical and extreme usage is, and what percentage of users fit into each.
Please respond to this blog post and tell me on average how many clicks per month you get on all your GoTryTHIS links combined. Also, what was your largest spike ever? Guestimates are quite alright!
Thank you,
John.
About 1200 clicks per month although in some months it can spike much higher.
All the best,
Ellery

Last month I had around 80,000 clicks across all sites.
If only they represented real visitors…..

What’s up dude
As I was telling you at Filesaime’s TIMME Seminar in Baltimore a couple of years ago GTT is solid…hopefully the GTT2 extras fills the needs I’m looking for…
Anyway… I’ve done spikes of 5000 in a matter of days…never had any problems… not sure how many clicks / mo because I have it installed on several domains and I use it for certain things…

I’ve pushed through 100K in clicks. GoTryThis basically became useless.

We’ve massively optimized the new version – part of the long delay in releasing it. It handles that kind of volume without a problem now.

we’ve done over a million clicks on one installation across a few month period last year, the stats took a while to load once the database had that many clicks in might be an option to allow users to purge data!? or an option to just keep rolling data like 1/2/3 etc. months and delete previous data automatically

Wowsers. The new version can handle that, and also rolls the data, keeping detailed stats (to the hour) for three months, and then summary stats after that.

Hi John,
I get lower clicks than the norm about 3,000 per month but that’s for just one website.
One of my older sites was averaging about 2,500 too, so about 5,500 on average.
Hope this helps in some way.
Regards
Steve

Hello John,
I’m just small time and don’t really get that many clicks per month, about 2 or 300 clicks per month and never any big spikes.
I never had any trouble. everything is cool!
Take Care

John
I’m a low level user 200-300 clicks per month, this will increase now I’ve realised how I can use it more. It still won’t be huge maybe 1500-2000 clicks per month.
Never had any issues with v1.41 very stable.

400,000 on one install … till it stalled. Then I had to move to another installl… till it almost stalled.
So now, until Version 2 is out,I find myself doing a fresh install of GTT because I know it would stall, when ideally I would have them on one install.
If it were all one ONE install, I would be sending about 4-6 million clicks a month… and this will be increasing steadily…

I get only about 2k at this point, but it’s bound to at least triple in a week or so. Spikes are usually double the norm.

Hi John,
When I was first using it with ppc, I was getting a couple hundred clicks/mo.

John,
Not using GTT as extensively as we originally intended for a number of reasons that we hope GTT2 will resolve / cover.
However, we get about 1K/mo on the few links we have and our largest spike to date was around 2.3K

About 30,000 on average month with some spikes higher, this is only used for email marketing…I don’t use it for PPC.

Currently about 15,000 per month on average. I’m not sure about my largest spike.

Hi John,
I am not proud for the numbers – clicks are below 1,000. I am waiting new features of the program: First, a feature to cloak the affiliate links perfectly, that is showing the targeted website address of the original vendor. Second, unvisible links: no data would appear in the bottom of the screen and nothing in case of mouse over. Third, installing only once and using with all my websites.
Thanks if one is included.
Regards,
Derek

hi,
I haven’t been using GTT… but now i’ve slowly started using it.
I expect to put 5k to 10k initially… and upto 100k in 3-5 months.. all monthly spread almost evenly.
