Announcing GoTryTHIS 1.4

Tomorrow we’ll release an update to version 1 for those who want it. This is not a critical upgrade, so if you don’t need this feature, you might just want to wait for version 2 before upgrading again.

The new feature, by very popular request, makes it so that variables are passed to cloaked links, which is rather useful if you’re using products like xconversions.com or covertconversionpro.com.

For example, in the previous version if I cloaked this link, you would end up on Google’s home page, where with version 1.4 (and 2.0) you will end up on the correct link.

We are also adding the same feature to the encrypted javascript links.

    John,

That is great news. GoTryThis and Xtreme Conversions are two of my most used products. I am looking forward to the added functionality in GTT1.4!

    Thanks,

    John,

Do you think this new feature will work to track links in Affiliate Radar?

    Thanks.

Rian, I haven’t used Affiliate Radar. Please let us know if it does. Maybe you can contact their support and have them get in touch with us and we’ll test them together at some point.

    Thanks,
    John.

This is great news! Am I correct in assuming that more than just the keyword will be able to be passed through?

    [Reply]

Peter, yes… everything after the ? will be passed through, unless there is a comma in the variables, which I think there already is a work-around in version 2.

As a reseller for Covert Conversion Pro, I can tell you this change is much appreciated.

    Thanks.

Great to hear that you put in the id passing feature and published the workaround for WP.

I’d be glad to beta test 2 as I want use it for my ppc stuff.

Ah…it is now Monday and the post says more on this tomorrow which would have been Friday, yes?

    [Reply]

Honor, it was released on Friday as scheduled. You can upgrade by logging into http://www.GreenWebServices.com and clicking the install button for GoTryTHIS.

After you put in your FTP information and specify the install location, it will give you the option to upgrade.

    John.
